Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) is an international association of high school and college students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship. Approximately 600 high school students participated in the 50th annual DECA States Career Development Conference on March 7-9 in Nashua, NH.

In addition to the competitive event winners, Ashley Luther, a junior at AHS, was elected as a DECA state officer for the year of 2007-2008. As a member of the NH DECA State Action Team, Luther will plan and execute the NH State Conference for 2008, visit and work with many high schools, and much more.
“It was a really fun experience,” said senior Chelsie Morgan. “I really worked hard in order to win. I can’t wait for nationals in Orlando!”
Many of those who placed in their events will be attending the International Career Development Conference held in Orlando, Florida from April 27th to May 2nd.
